REGITRIM 15 MG 30 CAP

* For the treatment of obesity and maintenance of normal body weight.
* Indications: Regitrim is indicated for the management of obesity including weight loss and maintenance of weight loss.
Best results are achieved when Regitrim is used in conjunction with a reduced calorie diet. Regitrim is used in patients
who have obesity-related risk factors like type II diabetes or dyslipidaemia.
* Dosage:
– Adults: The recommended starting dose is 10mg once daily with or without food. In patients with inadequate response
(inadequate response means weight loss less than 2 kg in 4 weeks treatment), the dose can be increased to 15mg once daily.
– Females on oral contraceptives: Suppression of ovulation by oral contraceptives is not inhibited by Sibutramine. Therefore,
there is no need for women to change their usual oral contraceptive when they are taking Regitrim.
– Patients with renal and hepatic impairment: Dosage adjustment may be necessary. The safe & effective uses of Sibutramine
under 16 years of age have not been established.
