* Indications:

& Saboctic is used to improve symptoms and deficits resulting from polyneuropathy in type II diabetic patients.

* Dosage:

# Initial dose:

& One tablet 600 mg daily which may be increased to three tablets (1800 mg) taken in divided doses according

& to the severity of the case.

# Maintenance dose:

& According to the physician’s prescriptions after the improvement of the case; the dose may be reduced to

& one tablet 300 mg daily.

# in less severe cases:

& The patient begins with tablet 300 mg twice daily and then the dose could be reduced to 300 mg once daily.

* Pregnancy && Lactation:

& Rarely, when diabetic patients administered Saboctic, it may induce decrease in blood glucose level,

& so determination of blood glucose level must be considered.

* Precautions && Warnings:

& Saboctic is a chelating agent that may cause depletion in blood iron level as it may purage minerals from body.

* To be used only on medical advice.
