SINGULAIR 4 MG (PAED.) 14 SACHETS

* SINGULAIR (Montelukast, MSD) 4 mg Paediatric Oral Granules. 14 Sachets. Net Weight 500mg/sachet.
* Composition: Each sachet contains: montelukast sodium equivalent to 4 mg montelukast. Also contains mannitol (E421).
* Indications: Singulair is indicated in adult and pediatric patients 6 months of age and older for the prophylaxis && chronic treatment
& & of asthma, including the prevention od day- and nighttime symptoms, th treatment of aspirin-sensitive asthmatic patients,
& & and the prevention of excercise-induced bronchoconstriction. Singulair is indicated for the relief of daytime and nighttime symptoms
& & of allergic rhinitis (seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older).
* Dosage && Administration:
& & – Singulair should be taken once daily. For asthma, the dose should be taken in the evening. For allegic rhinitis, the time of
& & administration may be individualized to suit patient needs.
& & – Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take only one tablet daily in the evening.
& & – Adults 15 years of age and older with asthma and/or seasonal allergic rhinitis: one 10-mg tablet daily.
& & – Pediatric patients 6 to 14 years of age with asthma and/or seasonal allergic rhinitis: 5-mg chewable tablet daily.
& & – Pediatric patients 2 to 5 years of age with asthma and/or seasonal allergic rhinitis: one 4-mg chewable tablet daily or one packet
& & of 4-mg oral granules daily.
& & – Pediatric patients 6 months to 2 years of age with asthma: one packet of 4-mg oral granules daily.
& & – Usual dosage 6 months to 5 years: one sachet daily (4 mg) in the evening.
* Take by mouth. Use as directed by your doctor. Consult enclosed leaflet before use.
* Store in a dry place, at temperature between 15-30 degrees C, protected from moisture && light. Store in the original package.
